About Drakers Gaming
Drakers Gaming is a blog about computer and console games. We write evergreen articles that help players understand their hobby a little better and enjoy it a little more.
What we write about
The blog covers the wide world of PC and console gaming from a practical angle. You will find beginner-friendly explainers on genres and platforms, guides to graphics settings and comfortable setups, tips on managing your playtime and your backlog, advice for enjoying online multiplayer, and opinion pieces about what makes games meaningful.
We deliberately focus on topics that do not go out of date quickly. Rather than chasing announcements, we aim to publish articles you can come back to whenever they become relevant to you.
Independent and informational
Drakers Gaming is operated by drakers.website. The blog is independent: it is not affiliated with, sponsored by or endorsed by any game developer, publisher, platform holder or hardware manufacturer.
Our articles are informational. We explain how things generally work, describe common trade-offs and share opinions that are clearly presented as opinions. We do not publish rumors, leaks or invented insider information. When a subject touches on health or comfort, we offer general information only and encourage readers to consult a qualified professional for advice about their own situation.
Who the blog is for
We write for anyone who plays games on a computer or a console. That includes people just getting started, returning players who want to catch up on the basics, and long-time enthusiasts who enjoy thinking about the hobby from new angles.
